The Patachou Foundation announces new KitchenHQ

Simply put, The Patachou Foundation has run out of room.

We need your help to open The Patachou Foundation “Kitchen HQ,” a dedicated production and teaching kitchen in Indianapolis.

Since 2013, we’ve served more than 100,000 scratch-made, after-school and school break meals to hungry kids in our city and plan to increase meal production and educational programming offerings in this new space.

When you donate to The Kitchen HQ project, you’re helping us build more than walls.

MORE MEALS MADE WITH REAL FOOD

Kitchen HQ will house a commercial-grade kitchen to prepare the more than 1,000 high-quality meals it serves at eight Indianapolis schools each week.

KITCHEN SKILLS = LIFE SKILLS

The production kitchen will convert into a teaching kitchen for student field trips and hands-on culinary lessons from industry professionals.

REAL-WORLD FOOD INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE FOR YOUTH

A public, for-profit coffee shop operated by the foundation will generate a revenue stream to help support the project. The foundation will offer job skills training opportunities to the youth it serves through the coffee shop’s operations.

We’re almost there. We have just $100,000 left to raise in order to fund this $750,000 project.

We’re raising $30,000 in 30 days to close this funding gap. Will you help us build Kitchen HQ? Click here to donate.
