Martha Hoover Named to Cherry Bombe 100

Martha Hoover has been named to the Cherry Bombe 100. This list is made up of the women who inspire us every day with their creativity, hardwork, and humanity.

A former sex crimes prosecutor, Martha Hoover had excellent, if unorthodox, training for the restaurant business. As the owner of Patachou Inc., she created a successful collection of establishments—Cafe Patachou, Petite Chou Bistro and Champagne Bar, Napolese Pizzeria, Public Greens Urban Kitchen, Crispy Bird, and Bar One Fourteen. The restaurants reflect her lifelong passion for food and joie de vivre. A pioneer in the farm-to-table movement, Martha’s restaurants now support over 30 local farms and purveyors, and serve hundreds of people a day. In 2013, Martha created The Patachou Foundation to feed healthy meals to food insecure children in Indianapolis. The Foundation started small, adhered to smart growth strategies, and made an impact. The goal for Patachou Inc. is a radically better and radically different organization, as laid out in Martha’s 2020 vision for the company.
